Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 will adapt the Gojo's Past Arc and the Shibuya Incident Arc from the manga. The Gojo's Past Arc follows Gojo Satoru and Suguru Geto as second-year students at Jujutsu High. They are tasked with escorting Riko Amanai, a girl who is possessed by a powerful curse, to a safe place. Along the way, they must face off against Toji Fushiguro, a powerful sorcerer who is hunting Riko for her curse. The Shibuya Incident Arc is one of the most important arcs in the manga. It follows the events of October 31st, 2018, when Suguru Geto launches a massive attack on Shibuya, Tokyo. Geto is joined by a group of cursed spirits and jujutsu sorcerers who have defected from Jujutsu High. The attack results in the deaths of hundreds of people, and it also leads to the deaths of many important characters, including Gojo Satoru. Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 is expected to be released in 2023.
